Picture 1-3: The basic position is taken out of the 4:4:2 pattern. The aim of the game is to synchronize the two middle backs and the two midfield players in possession of the ball, and to synchronize when the offensive players possess the ball as well. The players pass the ball with 2-3 or 1-2 passes depending on their skills. One of the players who tries to gain possession of the ball attacks the defender, while the other covers the space and inhibits the pass. |

| Games 4:2 on two courts
The aim of the game is to practice in-depth game and to shape the synchronised movement of the players in their positions. Conscious selection of depth and width passes can be acquired by this exercise as well as the synchronization of the two players behind each other in spearhead forward position.

Picture 1: This is the starting position of the game. On the first court the players are arranged according to the 4:2 pattern. In the meantime on the other court the spearhead forward moves to be passed by his team-mate. Their position is taken out of the 3:4:3 pattern, which is 3 defenders and 2 midfield players behind each other. |

Picture 2-3-4: The players play on the first court. After a pass to the midfield player (depth pass) a width pass follows to the lateral player, who passes the ball to the spearhead forward on the other court. All the players now move to the other court; they start the game in a 4:2 pattern. They have to pass the ball to the spearhead forward on the other court in tempo, and start the game again.

Picture 5: The two players who gain possession of the ball keep it on the first court, while the other players try to regain possession of the ball by with narrowing the field and surrounding them. If they regain possession, they keep hold the ball, and take their position while opening the field. |

Picture 6: Variation: Two players respectively try to gain possession of the ball on both courts. On the first court the game is according to the 4:2 pattern, while on the other court the two players relax out of the court. |
