At the end of youth soccer

Someone, who has never seen a young player about to enter into adulthood with thoughts - “What is going to happen to me? Where am I going to play now?” – and with uncertain expressions on his face, would naturally think that these 17-18 year old tough youngsters do not even have feelings. It sometime looks as if the cool behavior, the colored hairstyle, the tattoos, and the muscular bodies of these young ones exclude all internal doubts. However they are full of internal struggle. They are in a very critical period. Positive mentality, professional knowledge and understanding can help a lot. Negligence, unprofessional treatment and the lack of attention can be destructive. This is the time when these young players need professional, objective, and useful information to help their future.
It is important that a player entering adulthood should not be someone who is disappointed and frustrated; someone who will not care for or even hate soccer for the rest of his life just because his coaches do not see a great future in him.

This is the moment (at the end of youth soccer) when a player has to show that he is prepared. This is when a player finds out how realistic the relationship is between his eagerness and his chances. There are very few professional coaches brave enough or havinge the possibility to build a young player into his starting line-up. There are several reasons for this. The talent and the ability are not necessarily enough for a young player to be able to prevail in a world with a different rhythm. It is only a small number of youngsters who can find themselves without difficulties in an adult team right away. This is why it is necessary for us to fit a 2-5 year long period between the end of youth soccer and adult-professional soccer. This period between U18 and U23 is the development of adult soccer that requires special trainings and games.
